The Costa Brava is one of the most popular holiday regions in Spain. It stretches from the French-Spanish border at Portbou to the popular towns of Roses, L'Estartit, Palamós, Lloret de Mar and Blanes. Of course, it is primarily the beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava that attract many travellers. However, it would be more than negligent to limit the region in Catalonia to this, as the foothills of the Pyrenees await in the hinterland. The breathtakingly beautiful mountain scenery and exciting cities such as Barcelona nearby speak in favour of a stay on the coast. The campsites are generally close to the coast and very easy to reach. In addition to the classic pitches for motorhomes and caravans, the range of mobile homes is growing. The comfortable rental accommodation not only expands the range of pitches, it also opens up the possibility of spending more than just the summer months on the Costa Brava.
Mobile homes are an interesting option for campers on holiday on the Costa Brava. The flexible accommodation, which is available in various designs, allows you to stay regardless of the weather. On the one hand, this means that even bad weather days are catered for and, on the other hand, mobile homes are suitable for the winter or autumn. Why not escape the dreary weather in Germany and spend a pleasant time in rental accommodation on the Costa Brava? Thanks to their facilities, they leave nothing to be desired, even for longer stays.
Beautiful fishing villages are part of the Costa Brava. Cadaqués, where many famous artists have spent time, including Salvador Dalí, is well worth a visit. The Cap de Creus nature reserve in the foothills of the Pyrenees is a true natural paradise and a hike will leave an impression. Empuriabrava is also known as the "Venice of Spain" and, together with Roses and Tossa de Mar, is a popular destination for visitors from all over the world who want to take a stroll or savour the culinary delights in the local restaurants. Party lovers are also in good hands here, as many places are known for their discos and pubs. For many campers, however, this aspect does not play a role.
The accommodation on the Costa Brava is very versatile and modern. Thanks to the different construction styles, campers are spoilt for choice, so they can opt for a luxurious chalet or, alternatively, accommodation in a typical local style. Equipped with their own bathroom and kitchen, guests are relatively independent of the campsite infrastructure and enjoy much more privacy. One or more bedrooms, depending on the number of guests, and a spacious terrace appeal to various target groups who want to be able to enjoy their own space.
