The last primeval forest and the largest desert in Europe await campers in Poland. The Masurian Lake District in the north-east of the country is one of the most popular camping regions in Poland: you can set up camp on the shores of the numerous lakes and then explore the surrounding area on foot or by bike. The Baltic Sea as far as the Bay of Gdansk impresses with its picturesque landscapes. Eastern Poland is home to the Białowieża Forest, one of the last primeval forests in Europe. A highlight of the south is the Błędów Desert, on the edge of which there are several campsites.
