Glamping in the Rhineland-Palatinate wine region

The federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate has so much to offer nature lovers and pleasure-seekers. The region is known for its wine-growing, but active holidaymakers will also get their money's worth on sporting excursions in the Eifel or Hunsrück. Whether it's a hiking holiday or an indulgent experience: with glamping, holidaymakers can enjoy all the benefits of a flexible and completely self-determined break with the added bonus of comfort and luxury.

On holiday in rental accommodation in the Eifel or the Palatinate Forest, wonderful hiking trails are right on your doorstep. If you want to go really high, opt for accommodation in the Hunsrück and climb the Erbeskopf, the highest mountain in the state at 816 metres. Rhineland-Palatinate boasts two waterways, the Moselle and the Rhine, which are known for their romantic scenery. Fairytale castles rise up on the banks. One of the most famous is undoubtedly Eltz Castle on the banks of the Moselle.

Anyone opting for glamping on the Rhine or Moselle should not miss out on a boat trip to explore the area from the water. In addition to the striking hilltop castles, it is the extensive vineyards that characterise the banks of the Rhine and Moselle. A romantic evening in luxury accommodation with a delicious Moselle wine is an essential part of any holiday. But Rhineland-Palatinate is also the perfect place for culture vultures. Trier, the oldest city in Germany, awaits those interested in history.
