With more than 2,700 hours of sunshine on average, Hvar is one of the friendliest and most weather-resistant islands in the Mediterranean. The year-round mild climate ensures that olives, lavender and wine thrive here in Croatia. Even in the coldest months of January and February, the temperature rarely drops below 10 degrees Celsius. Snow can only be expected once every 10 years.
From May to November, camping on the island of Hvar offers ideal conditions for outdoor holidays. In midsummer, temperatures can even reach 27 degrees. Even small children enjoy splashing around in the water for hours: the sea warms up to over 20 degrees from June to October.
