After a swim, you can sit together on the terrace and enjoy the fantastic panoramic view of the village of Tisens. Cyclists can take advantage of the bike special to enjoy discounted tours by mountain bike, e-bike or racing bike on the region's cycle paths.
The family-run Waldcamping Naturns campsite is in a fantastic location right on the wooded mountain slopes and meadows around Naturno - a true paradise for nature lovers. Actually, it wouldn't need more than the marvellous surroundings. However, the resort offers numerous other amenities to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. The ADAC and former guests have given this site an excellent rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. All pitches, which are around 100 m² in size, have electricity connections, free cable TV and drinking water connections. There is an adventure pool on the site, which is ideal for swimming whatever the weather. Children can let off steam on the large adventure playground and in their own children's playroom.
Campers, caravan owners, tent holidaymakers and motorcyclists: everyone is welcome at Camping Passeier Meran. The site in the unique natural setting of the Passeier Valley is the perfect base for camping guests of all kinds. The sunny pitches are a good size at around 100 m², and there are meadow tent pitches with and without pitches on an idyllic panoramic terrace. Holiday flats can also be booked and serve as comfortable holiday homes. There are also tennis courts and a swimming pool on the site. The centre of the spa town of Merano is only about 9 km away.
Camping doesn't necessarily mean you have to do without luxury. The Schlosshof Resort near Lana, set amidst blossoming orchards, is a true luxury accommodation and offers not only a hotel but also camping at the highest level. Every detail has been thought of in this holiday village. Holidaymakers in search of a luxury holiday can enjoy the real "Dolce Vita" here. The ADAC has awarded Luxury Camping Schlosshof 5 stars as a super campsite and the campers themselves also love the site. The pitches are divided into three categories according to size and offer electricity, water, Wi-Fi and cable TV. There are several "designer sanitary facilities" on the site, which is no exaggeration in this case. Guests can relax and unwind in the Aquaviva adventure pool with its own pool service and the Golden Spa sauna area. The range of massages on offer rounds off the wellness camping experience perfectly. There is a separate dog shower for dogs. The campsite's own restaurant invites all guests to enjoy South Tyrolean and Italian specialities, while the varied breakfast buffet tempts campers out of bed in the morning. Self-catering campers can buy regional delicacies for their own camping kitchen in the kiosk and the nearby supermarket.
Camping Via Claudia Augusta is situated in a quiet yet central location in Algund, around 3 km from Meran. Surrounded by orchards, vineyards and right next to an idyllic fish pond, camping holidaymakers can switch off here for a few days and take in the wonderful nature of the Merano region. With over 80 garden landscapes, the botanical gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are one of the highlights of the spa town of Merano/Meran.
This diverse hiking area stretches from the Mediterranean slopes above Merano to the steep 3000 metre peaks above the largest high alpine lake district in South Tyrol. The Passeier Valley is particularly beautiful. The village of Pfelders, for example, is a good stop-off point for a short break.
