This is a perch that is usually served as a fillet with potatoes.

Best time to visit

Due to its location at the foot of the Alps, the weather in Friedrichshafen is significantly influenced by the Föhn wind. Summers are almost Mediterranean warm, while temperatures rarely fall below 0°C in winter. This means that the region offers suitable conditions for a camping holiday in all seasons.

Nevertheless, summer from June to August is considered the best time of year. The months of May and September are also attractive, with average temperatures of 17°C. The mild weather is ideal for outdoor activities. Summer is perfect for swimming: the water temperature of Lake Constance is around 16°C in May, rises to around 20°C in summer and slowly drops again from October onwards.
