Fantastic dune landscapes, the Wadden Sea and salty-fresh air - all this awaits holidaymakers on naturist camping on the North Sea. Enjoy the cool North Sea waves without swimwear and practise naturism right by the sea - there are numerous beaches for naturists on the North Sea islands of Sylt, Föhr, Amrum and Nordstrand.
Whether hiking through the Wadden Sea, cycling in the Südermarsch or kitesurfing - the North Sea offers numerous leisure activities.
The Wadden Sea National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and never fails to enchant. When the North Sea recedes at low tide, it is possible to walk directly on the seabed and observe small shrimps and hermit crabs. In some places, holidaymakers can even walk to the offshore islands with almost dry feet.
The Südermarsch region offers endless expanses and tranquillity. The best way to explore the marshy landscape is by bike. Südermarsch is one of the most sparsely populated communities in Schleswig-Holstein and promises peace and relaxation. Of course, you can also go hiking, horse riding or inline skating here.
The North Sea island of Langeoog is a true paradise for kitesurfers. A 141-hectare kite zone stretches along the western edge of the island, offering plenty of space to let off steam in the air and in the water. The local kite school offers courses for beginners and advanced kiters as well as equipment. The area is ideal for beginners, as the zone is protected by a sandbank and therefore the waves are not too big.
A popular excursion destination near the North Sea is of course the famous Hanseatic city of Hamburg. Numerous sights such as the Speicherstadt warehouse district or the Reeperbahn are lined up here. A top attraction both from the outside and the inside is the Elbphilharmonie concert hall, which impresses with its unique architecture and acoustics. Numerous concerts and events take place here.
Whether on the mainland or the islands, guests can look forward to many exciting events on the North Sea throughout the calendar year. From culinary delights to music, there is plenty on offer.
