No appointments, no stress, relaxing and finally doing what you want - that's what really counts on holiday. And where better to do that than in a mobile home on a campsite? They offer all the comforts of a classic holiday home and also have the advantage that holidaymakers can use all the campsite facilities and services free of charge. A holiday couldn't be more relaxing.
The Istrian peninsula in the north of Croatia has become one of the most popular destinations for campers in recent years due to its proximity to its European neighbours. Lapped by the Adriatic Sea, there is a large selection of campsites right by the water and an exciting natural landscape or countless places worth seeing that are waiting to be discovered by visitors. Istria has an excellent infrastructure at the modern campsites, which are not only dedicated to the classic motorhome traveller, but also offer an impressive range of mobile homes. On a large number of campsites, separate areas have been created for rental accommodation, which differ in terms of design and equipment. This gives travellers an exciting holiday option with a high degree of flexibility on site.
Istria itself is a dream destination for campers. If you are travelling by car, the journey via Austria is relatively short compared to other destinations, and the peninsula can also be reached by plane and other means of transport. The mild temperatures on the Adriatic coast, the azure blue water, the numerous beaches and, above all, the extensive range of rental accommodation inspire people. A luxurious chalet, a stylish bungalow, a safari tent or accommodation in typical local style - campsite guests are spoilt for choice in this respect.
The picture-book town of Rovinj, the historic town of Pula, the romantic holiday resort of Novigrad or the idyllic fishing village of Rabac on the hillside offer plenty of cultural variety. The metropolises look back on a long history, which is reflected in countless sights. Trips to the towns are also worthwhile to sample the culinary delights or simply to shop and stroll around. The Brijuni National Park with its safari park, the Limski Canal, the Baredine Cave with its impressive stalagmites and stalactites or the Cape Kamenjak nature reserve are all natural experiences that visitors should not miss out on.
In terms of furnishings, the mobile homes leave little to be desired. The number of bedrooms depends on individual requirements and the number of guests who wish to stay together. A private bathroom and kitchen significantly increase comfort on a campsite and ensure sufficient privacy. The accommodation in Istria usually has a spacious terrace where meals can be taken or sunbathing takes centre stage. It is not uncommon for the mobile homes to offer a lot of entertainment, so that even on rainy days the best entertainment is guaranteed.
