From 1 May to 1 October, four-legged friends are allowed to run around on the beach off the lead before 10 am or after 7 pm. Sand as far as the eye can see awaits active holidaymakers on the 12 km long Tour Door de duinen van Renesse. You pass the Verklikkerduinen, which are several 100 metres wide. Rare plants such as sea thistle and sea fennel grow between the sometimes quite steep sand formations. The Netherlands is known throughout the world as a great cycling nation.
