Camping at. Lake Lucerne

That's why you should camp on Lake Lucerne:

  • Dreamlike lake with a pre-Alpine backdrop
  • Adventurous cities
  • Excursion mountains all around
  • Many water sports activities

With its crystal blue waters, wooded slopes and the Rigi mountains all around, Lake Lucerne is somewhat reminiscent of a fjord landscape. The body of water in central Switzerland is a great destination for camping holidays, as it combines a quiet, relaxed atmosphere with culture and experiences in towns such as Lucerne and the villages of Weggis and Vitznau on its shores. Hikers are drawn to the excursion mountains such as the Stanserhorn with its unique convertible cable car or Lucerne's local mountain Pilatus with several restaurants.
